16. Account security

You must take all reasonable precautions to keep your security details safe. This includes:

  • keeping your mobile secure to prevent unauthorised use of the SMS one time password;
  • not allowing anyone else to access your email
  • not allowing anyone else access to your Nominated Account
  • not allowing anyone else to use your Fairlo Account details;

You must contact us immediately if:

  • you suspect that someone else knows your Fairlo Account security details; or
  • you suspect that someone has carried out an unauthorised Transaction on your account, or may try to do so.

If we become aware of suspected or actual fraud or security threats relating to your Account or security details, we will attempt to contact you by SMS (using the number you have given us), or email asking you to contact us. Provided that you satisfactorily complete the security checks we use to verify your identity, then (to the extent permitted by law) we will inform you of the nature of the suspected or actual fraud or security threats.
